Required Documents for Turkey Visa Online:

• Scanned copy of the first and last page of your passport
• Scanned recent 2 color photograph (Photo Specifications) taken against a white background.
• Confirmed return flight ticket
• Hotel reservation or invitation letter (if visiting family or friends)
• Birth certificate for minors (below 14 years)
• Valid Visa or Residence permit of UK / USA / Schengen Country / Ireland.

Kindly note: The government is very strict about photograph requirements. Please ensure that your photos meet the specifications for a successful Turkey Tourist Visa application.

Documentation Requirements for Various Categories:

1. If Employed:
– Leave Sanctioned Certificate: Company seal indicating approval for leave.
– Salary Slips: Last 3 months.

2. If Self Employed:
– Business Proof: Registration License/MOA/Partnership deed.
– Company Bank Statement: Stamped & updated for the last 6 months with a bank seal.
– Company’s Income Tax Returns: Last 3 years.

3. If Retired:
– Retirement Proof: Pension book, statement, etc.

4. If Student:
– ID Card: From school, college, or institute.

5. If Minor:
– Birth Certificate: Showing names of both parents.
– Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC):
– If traveling with one parent, a letter of consent from the other parent must be legalized.
– If traveling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel.
– Death Certificate: If one or both parents are deceased.
– ID Proof: Of parents.

6. If Visiting Friend or Relative:
– Invitation Letter: Stating the relationship with the inviter, purpose of visit, and assurance of housing and related expenses during the stay.
– ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit.
– Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill.

7. If Sponsored:
– Sponsorship Letter: Providing visitor details, purpose, relationship, length of stay, travel dates, and any additional necessary information.
– ID Proof of Sponsor: Passport or Resident Permit.
– Address Proof of Sponsor: Utility bill.
– Proof of Financial Support: Updated bank statement, pay slips.

8. For Business Visa:
– Introduction/Recommendation Letter from:
– One of the Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.
– Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India.
– Export Promotion Council of India.
– Reference number from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey.
– Registration Certificate: From the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India.
– Income Tax Documents: Last 3 years.
– Company Letter: Addressed to the embassy, introducing the businessman for visa issuance.
– Invitation Letter: From the local partner or prospect local partner company in Turkey.

Note: The Embassy/Consul General reserves the right to request additional information or documents and may ask for a personal interview with the applicant.

Steps to Get Turkey VISA

1. Upload Documents

• How long does it take to get a visa?

Once your documents are submitted to the Embassy, it takes up to 3-5 working days for your VISA to reach you.

• How will I get my VISA?

The only requirement for your visa or residence permit to be used as a supporting document is that it must be valid at the time of both your entry and exit from Turkey. Please note that eVisas from other countries are not accepted as supporting documents.

• What happens if I exceed my VISA validity?

If you happen to exceed the mentioned stay permitted for your Turkey Visa, you shall be liable for a heavy duty penalty.

• I do not have a valid Schengen, US, UK or Ireland Visa? Can I still apply for a Turkey eVisa?

No. You can only apply for a Turkey eVisa provided you have a valid Schengen, US, UK or Ireland Visa. In that case, you will need to apply for a Turkey sticker visa at the Turkish mission and we will be glad to assist you with a fast and hassle free visa application.

• What will be the best time to apply for Turkey VISA?
